She took the phone and started dialing " Yeah i'd rather not have my phone exploding. Rayne walked over to the other side of the room and fake coughed, "hey v...." "yeah, i COUGH can't go in" "okay i'll see you on Monday" Rayne hung up. "alright, lets go giraffe hunting!"

Ven smiled at Rayne's acting. Once she got off the phone, he gave her small round of applause. "Bravo. You are a real actress," he teased. He imagined up a bouquet of roses. "For the leading lady."

Ryane rolled her eyes and sidestepped the roses. "butthead, heres your phone" She through it at Ven with force, hitting him right in the face. "thats what i have to say about your sarcasm. Besides I wouldn't be in this mess if i hadn't gone out with you. " Rayne felt the harshness of her words she didn't really mean them, but things like that slipped out sometimes.

Ven yelped as the phone hit him in the face. He caught it before it fell away. His expression drooped at Rayne's words. He put the phone back in his pocket and gave a weak smile. "But it was fun, right?" he asked softly.

Ven looked as though Rayne had just killed his puppy. Rayne gave him a sympathetic look, "i'm sorry I- Didn't meant that, It was the most fun i've had in a long time, and, missing work for the first time is stressing me out..." Rayne trailed off picking up one of the nets and fiddling with it, hoping he wouldn't get to mad.

Ven felt a smile work its way onto his face at Rayne's words. He chuckled under his breath at her fiddling. "I understand. You know, you're really cute when you're flustered," he said, placing a hand on her head and messing up her hair slightly.

Rayne rolled her eyes " and your adorable when your scared." She replied, sarcasm in her words. She sighed again. "So are we going to catch the trouble makers? or what?" She motioned to the door with the net.

Ven smiled and hoisted his onto his shoulder. "Alright! Let's go look for some giraffes!"
Half an hour later
"Ahhhh! Where are they?!" Ven impatiently yelled.

Rayne facepalmed. Ven had insisted on looking through the apartment for them, or even clues. All they found was that the girraffs had chewed through the lock on the door, and gotten out that way. Ven and Rayne where now located in the elevator. "probably not in your apartment building." Rayne said grinning.

"Well, at least we know they're not there," Ven mumbled, feeling his patience running thin. He didn't have much a patience to begin with, mostly because unlike other people, he never really had to wait for stuff. He sighed, taking a deep breath. "There's a park near here. Wanna search there?"

well if I was a mini giraffe I would go there, so that might be the perfect place. I just hope they all stayed together" Rayne stepped ot of the elevator and walked with ven out of the upscale apartment.

The park was only a few blocks away but Rayne and Ven still got some odd looks from the other civilians. Cause of their giant butterfly nets and all. Finally making to the park, Ven looked around for signs of mini giraffes.
As he was standing there, leaves began falling on his head. Looking up, Ven smiled. "There's one! In the tree!"
